Fate of Old Shade Tree in Edgartown to be Decided in Bench Trial

A superior court civil trial over a public shade tree on Edgartown’s Main street begins Monday at the Edgartown town hall. Benjamin L. Hall, the owner of the building known as the Yellow House at the corner of Main and South Summer streets, is suing the Edgartown selectmen and tree warden over the fate of a linden tree on the property.
