Dr. Anne Merrill Was Longtime Camp Ground Resident

Longtime Camp Ground resident Dr. Anne W. Merrill died of natural causes at the Pennswood Village retirement home in Newtown, Pa. on June 2. She was 92.

The daughter of Walter and Edith Merrill of 77 Trinity Park, who predeceased her, she is succeeded by sister Frances Merrill Clark, of Lake Wales, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a close friend of Eleanor Shabica and Ruth Wortman, the mother of Sally Dagnall, historiographer of the Camp Ground.

Private memorial services are being held in the family; interment will be in Skowhegan, Maine at the family cemetery.
