Herbert F. Slater of Menemsha died on Nov. 21 at Massachusetts General Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. at Abel’s Hill Cemetery in Chilmark, followed by a reception at the Chilmark Community Center. A full obituary will appear in a later edition of the Gazette.
